The Golden Fire App


The Rural Media Company will launch its "Golden Fire” lottery funded project with a “Cider Heritage Tour created in collaboration with the Herefordshire Cider Route” at The Courtyard, Hereford on 7 June.

Gregg’s Pit will have a sales stall at this launch event and James has been invited to participate in an onstage Q&A session. Golden Fire has created a new archive and exhibition of films, photography, oral histories and online content, pulled together in an exciting new app that will guide visitors and locals around Herefordshire’s cider producers, festivals and growers.

The app will be available to anyone, anywhere on the planet who has access to iTunes or Android app stores and will include a bounty of media. It will show that Herefordshire cider producers are part of a vibrant digital world, and could give them exposure on a potentially unprecedented level.

James has been interviewed on film for the app and Gregg’s Pit Cider & Perry will feature as a ‘Golden Apple’.
